Tim Owens, D.D.S.

Dr. Owens strives to stay at the forefront of dental advancements and technology. He is constantly pursuing advanced continuing education in cosmetics and restorative dentistry, including several courses at the Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies (LVI). He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Larimer County Dental Society.

He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation he was nominated by dental school faculty into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society based on academic achievement and moral character.

Following dental school Dr. Owens completed a one year post-graduate residency program at the University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City. Here he was mentored by dental specialists in endodontics, pedodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery. His background also includes a master’s degree in physical therapy which he earned from Syracuse Upstate Medical Center where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Owens was born and raised near Buffalo, New York. He served as a church missionary in Brazil for 2 years. He studied at Brigham Young University, where he met his wife, Caroline, who is from Northern California. They stay busy raising their five wonderful children: Lindsay, Miles, Samuel, Wesley, and Julia.
