If you will be joining Dr. Owens as a new patient, be sure to access registration forms from this site, complete them at home, and bring them to your appointment to save time. Your first visit should take one and a half to two hours. Dr. Owens and his team will talk with you about the reason for your visit, your vision of the perfect smile, and your concerns. By investing time in you, they can learn how to create a rewarding, pleasant dental experience for you.

After your initial consultation, Dr. Owens will perform a comprehensive oral exam, including a tooth-by-tooth inspection, periodontal assessment, and oral cancer screening. He'll also check your occlusion to make sure that your upper and lower teeth fit together properly. If necessary, we'll take X-rays and digital images.

Dr. Owens will review his findings and recommendations with you. We consider you a vital partner in your oral healthcare team. If you have questions about clinical procedures, scheduling, or payment options, please ask. We'll schedule your next visit before you go.
